CRÉATHON - WORKSHOP FOR DEVELOPING THE NEW IDENTITY FOR THE GRAND-DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG

Participatory workshop for developing the new identity for the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg - The Start of the Luxemburg Nation Branding.

The mission was to generate various concepts how the identity of the Grand-Duchy should look like and what elements are needed to increase the visibility.

60 people with different disciplines, backgrounds and age participated on a voluntary basis.

The Créathon resulted in 5 conceptual directions that were the foundation for the new identity of the country.


The project was initiatied by Nation Branding Committee Luxembourg, Ministry of State Luxembourg, Ministry of Economy Luxembourg


Jan Glas mission was to develop, manage and lead this co-creation event in association with Stoldt Associés  and Opitz new Media, Prof. Dr Leon Cruickshank, Professor of Design and Creative Exchange,  Imagination Lancaster – Lancaster University and Ingrid Van der Wacht, International Project manager, Dutch Design Foundation.


The workshop took place 4-5 march 2016 at LUCA, Nyuko and Carré, Luxembourg-City.
